Moving from Ain Issa ...Al-Raqqa Council seeks better services

Al-Raqqa Civil Council was established on April 18, 2017 in Ain Issa district in order to work for the provision of services and the management of organizational matters and solve the problems facing al-Raqqa people and villages through the councils and reconciliation committees.

After life returned to al-Raqqa city the residents returned to their homes in the neighborhoods which were cleared of remnants of war and the mines planted by IS gangs in the area, al-Raqqa Civil Council transferred its committees and centers from Ain Issa to al-Raqqa to facilitate the movement of the Council and meet the requirements of the region

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed with the Co-chair of al-Raqqa Civil Council, Abdul Hamid al-Mahbash said “After moving to al-Raqqa city, we will provide services within and outside the city according to the possibilities available to us, through the activation of water and sanitation networks within the city, in addition to working on the health and humanitarian side.

He added at end his speech "The Civil Council will work to rebuild the infrastructure destroyed by IS gangs in al-Raqqa city and continue the work of demining the remaining neighborhoods in the city."
