AL-Adnanieh irrigation pump is ready , will work tomorrow

The Irrigation Committee of al-Raqqa Civil Council has completed its work on rehabilitating the lifting pump in Adnanieh and will be placed at the service of the farmers to irrigate their crops starting Wednesday.

AL-RAQQA- The Irrigation Committee of the Civil Council has completed its work on rehabilitating the lifting pump in al-Adnanieh and has been run on an experimental basis today. Tomorrow, work will begin on a permanent basis to irrigate at least 10,000 hectares in the Northern al-Raqqa countryside.
After a work that took 5 months in a row, the irrigation committee was able to rehabilitate al- Adnanieh pump, which is ready to work and has been operated experimentally today and is scheduled to be officially operated on Wednesday.

In this context, the supervisor of work of the pump rehabilitation the Engineer Fadel Mustafa said "We have had difficulties repairing the pump because of mines planted by IS mercenaries inside the pump, and we have been able to repair the pump after the relevant teams have removed the mines. The pump will enter the service as soon as possible."
