Kongra Star Council opens first center for women in Kobani

Kongra Star Council in Kobani canton opened during a ceremony the first center for women named the martyr Sor Khin.

KOBANI- In order to organize and activate the role of women in all districts and villages of Kobani, Kongra Star in Kobani formed the Women's communes starting in August 2016.

After the formation of the communes, Kongra Star opened today its first center in the neighborhood of the martyrs of Khubat and Yahya in Kobani city named the martyr "Sor Khin", in the presence of dozens of Kobami women.

The opening ceremony began with a minute of silence, and then the administrative member of Kongra Star in Kobani congratulated the opening center to all the women who guided the woman on the path of freedom that brought woman to this stage.

The opening ceremony was concluded by cutting the opening ribbon by the mother of the martyr "Farouq Barz", Kordo Sakina.

It should be noted that martyr Sor khin was martyred in the massacre of Kobani in June 25.
