Ain Issa station is ready after being rehabilitated

GIRÊ SIPÎ- Ain Issa water lifting station feeds the entire district center and its countryside with potable water, after it was maintained and rehabilitated by the Water Committee.

The station was founded in 2001 to feed Ain Issa and its countryside with potable water as well as the countryside of the northern Girê Sipî city, located in the southwestern part of the area.

The water reaches the station from the "Zahra pumping station" to be treated and pumped into the areas that feed it.

The station consists of a pure pumping hall containing two horizontal pumping units of 200 m3 per hour, in addition to a vertical pumping group within the ground reservoir connected to the pumping line at 100 m3 per hour.

And contains a water tank of land capacity of 5000 m 3, and there is an additional pumping line comes from Fattas Alrakrak station.

The plant is operated by a 200kva wind power transformer and has been supplied after its rehabilitation with a 250kva generating group that operates diesel as a reserve.

The Water Commission rehabilitated the station after it was subjected to sabotage during IS control of the area.

The head of the water committee in the municipality of the people in the area of Ain Issa Farouk Mustafa attributed the delay in the pumping of water to the district and its countryside because of the breakdown in the water network that feeds the area.
