'We congratulate Middle East's peoples in remembrance of Ocalan's birthday,

The Democratic Community Conference, the Party of Democratic Regions and the Free Women's Party, issued a joint statement in conjunction with the birth of the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocelan.

The text of the statement:

"Today we are living through a difficult stage where the Middle East is witnessing historic changes, at which point the Middle East is reshaping, the Freedom Movement has a prominent role to play.

At this important stage, the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocelan and through his theoretical approaches have always contributed in guiding this stage. His views continue to illuminate the path of our struggle and take us to the right path.

On April 4, 2018, the 69th anniversary of the birth of the Kurdish People's Leader, Abdullah Ocelan, comes to an end, and on this occasion we congratulate the Kurdish people and all the peoples of the Middle East.

The day of Ocalan's birth has become a source of all values of democracy, freedom, fraternity and peace. Equality, justice, freedom of women and hope of life. Therefore, the Kurdish people, the peoples of the Middle East, all the progressive, patriots and democratic forces welcome this day with the enthusiasm .

For 19 years, Ocelan has been in a state of intense isolation before the eyes of the world. Despite all the difficult circumstances and the severe isolation, it continues to lead the resistance of the age and has become a source of hope for all the peoples of the Middle East through its theoretical ideas.

The isolation imposed on Ocelan is at the same time isolated against the Kurdish people and all the people of Kurdistan. It also targets the will of freedom.

The Kurdish people linked their freedom to the freedom of Ocelan and acted accordingly. It is also considered that the freedom of Ocelan is one of the reasons for his life, and made it the focus of struggle .

Once again we appeal to all the people of Kurdistan and progressive humanity to step up the struggle to demand the freedom of Ocelan. With all the enthusiasm of the struggle and high morale, we congratulate Ocelan's birthday. "
