Sengal people rejects of Turkish threats

NEWS DESK –Massive march has been launched of Sengal people and representatives of all political and civil instituations and organizations against the Turkish threats against the people of Isidakhan .

Sengal people march was launched from the center of  Sonon village towards the building of administration distrcit . "No to the Turkish occupation of Sengal , not to international silence and the silence of the Iraqi government," he said. Sengal residents denounced during the march the silence of the Iraqi government against the Turkish threats against Sengal.

During the march the co-chair  of the Democratic Autonomous Administration  Council  in Sengal Hasan Haji read out a statement on behalf of the council saying:

"No to the threats of the Turkish state, which seeks to commit massacres against the Yezidis We call on the Iraqi government and the United Nations to deal with the Turkish threats."

The statement pointed out that the Yazidi people are self –Ruling their own affairs, but that they are being threatened by the Turkish state. "The Turkish state must know very well that the Yazidi people have reached a level where they can manage their own affairs."

On the decision to withdraw the (HPG)and women's Freedom Units - Star :said in the statement "We thank KurdistanWorkers party (PKK) and we will never forget their preferences".

The Administertor in Sinon district Khodida Joki in his speech "We will do everything in our power for our people, and we will reach out to the international Society and human rights organizations".

In the course of his speech, Joki referred to the massacres committed by IS gangs against the Yazidis in 2014, adding: "Before now there were forces called the Peshmerga, but unfortunately they left us in the hands of IS gangs so we do not want any other force here, we want to defend ourselves, The Women's Units in Sengal ,and Women Protection Units (YPJ) are the forces that defend our people "
