The governor of the Şırnek region announced the imposition of a curfew in 14 areas on the border strip of the Şırnek center and its environs of Jazir, Salopi, Qalban, Basa and Alki for a period of 15 days, according to ANF News Agency reported.

The agency stated that the governor revealed in a statement: “Each of the regions in the mountains of Judi, Basta, Gia, Korçen, Karagali Hill, Memi Castle, Seret Valley, 2088 Rk Hill, the Kujuksu region, the Kato Marinus mountains, the Lower Kato region, and the Doli region Tanini are “special security areas for the Turkish army,” between 12 and 26 November.

In a related context, and within the framework of the political extermination process pursued by the Turkish occupation state, it arrested 18 people after raids on their homes on November 6-7 in the center of the city of Golek and its environs of Dara Hina, Kani Rash, and Punkilan, and arrested 5 people, including the HEDEP politician Übeyip Özer, Mazloum Serinil, Abdul Rahman Saf, Shafiqa Doğan, and Aladdin Narenj. They were alleged membership of the PKK, and two people were released under the condition of judicial supervision. While 11 of them were released after taking their statements at the police directorate.
