11 Syrian refugees lost their lives and several others, including children, were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the town of Tamnin al-Tahta in the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that 11 Syrian refugees were killed in an Israeli strike on the town of Tamnin al-Tahta in the Bekaa area of eastern Lebanon.

According to the agency, the airstrike hit a location where Syrian refugees were staying in the town, resulting in fatalities and a number of injuries, including among children, while rescue teams continue evacuating the wounded and transporting them to nearby hospitals.

Areas in southern Lebanon have been under continuous bombardment by the Israeli army since early this morning, targeting several towns, including Shehabiya and Bint Jbeil, in addition to the Aisha Bakkar area in the capital, Beirut.
