11 messages are sent to concerned parties for releasing leader Ocalan 

the website of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan published information about new endeavors that the initiative is working on in coordination with a number of community and human rights organizations within the framework of the global campaign “Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan, the political solution to the Kurdish issue.”

It was stated on the initiative’s website, “With the sponsorship of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Ocalan, and in coordination with the Lawyers’ Initiative to Defend Leader Ocalan, and the Health Union in North and East Syria, a number of letters were sent to international and global human rights organizations.”

The initiative revealed on its website the parties to which the letters were sent: (the European Court of Human Rights - Doctors Without Borders - the Council of Europe - the International Cross - the UN Committee on Torture - the CPT Committee on Torture - the Human Rights Council - the International Red Crescent - the World Health Organization - the Arab League - the Organization Amnesty International.

The official spokesman for the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Farzandeh Munther, told ANHA agency in a previous statement on December 17, that the initiative collected 1,025 signatures from lawyers for the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

He said: “We collected 1,025 signatures of lawyers from North and East Syria and Syria for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan within 20 days, and we will send these signatures to Amnesty International soon. The signatories are not only from North and East Syria, but also from Latakia, Homs, Damascus, Aleppo and all of components.
