11 killed in separate incidents across Syria

Syrian governorates witnessed a series of scattered incidents yesterday, resulting in the deaths of 11 people under various circumstances, according to ANHA agency's monitoring.

In the Damascus countryside, a young man was killed by a direct gunshot wound while handling a personal firearm in the city of Al-Dumayr. Additionally, the remains of four individuals—likely buried during the Baathist regime's rule—were discovered during excavation work near the "Bala" Battalion site.

In the city of Homs, a young man died after being struck by a stray bullet while on the roof of his home in the Al-Arman neighborhood.

Meanwhile, a member of the Ministry of Defense (Interim Government) engineering team was killed when a landmine exploded, targeting the team's vehicle near the town of Kabana in the northern Latakia countryside.

In the eastern Aleppo countryside, a young woman with special needs was killed following an assault with a sharp object in the village of Khirbet Shihab.

Separately, a citizen was shot dead by unidentified gunmen while on his agricultural land near the village of Shitka, in the Mobato sub-district of the Afrin countryside.

In the Hama countryside, a person was killed by the explosion of a landmine—a remnant of war—in the village of Duwayr al-Akrad.

Additionally, residents in the Idlib countryside discovered the remains of an unidentified man during road expansion work between the cities of Idlib and Ariha.
