1 killed, others injured in 2 Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that a civilian was injured in an Israeli airstrike on Shebaa, while the official news agency reported the death of one person in another strike on the city of Bint Jbeil.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced today that a civilian was injured in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon, while another person was reported killed in a second strike on the southern city of Bint Jbeil.

In a press statement, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center affiliated with the Ministry said that “a drone strike by the Israeli enemy led to the injury of a civilian in Shebaa.”

The National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone targeted a house in Shebaa, noting that there were reports of casualties.

The official agency also revealed that an Israeli drone strike targeted the Saf al-Hawa area in the city of Bint Jbeil in the south of the country, resulting in one fatality.

Israel continues to carry out airstrikes in southern and eastern Lebanon and in the southern suburb of Beirut, despite the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on November 27. Its forces also remain present at five points in southern Lebanon.
