Via the X virtual communication platform, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy explained on Thursday that Russia used more than 300 drones and 37 missiles in an overnight attack on Ukrainian infrastructure

He added, "This fall, the Russians are exploiting every day to strike at Ukrainian energy infrastructure."

For its part, the Private Ukrainian Energy Company DTEK said that an overnight Russian attack on energy infrastructure had halted operations at gas production facilities in the Poltava region.

The company wrote in a statement on Telegram, on Thursday, "The enemy again attacked DTEK-Naftogaz's energy infrastructure with drones and missiles overnight,".

In turn, the Russian Ministry of Defense clarified in a statement on Thursday that "Last night, air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 51 Ukrainian drones."
