Nader Tannous, a young man, was shot yesterday, Saturday, in the Karam al-Loz neighborhood of Homs while returning home from work, according to ANHA agency’s correspondent; he sustained critical injuries.

Tannous was shot in the head and succumbed to his wounds, while the identities and motives of the attackers remain unknown.

Tannous had recently returned to Syria from Sweden and settled in Homs before his life was taken; local sources indicate he was originally from the village of Al-Kaimah in the Homs countryside.
