Mohammed Al-Salibi was stabbed to death while attempting to break up a dispute that had erupted between some of his cousins ​​and other individuals in the Khashman neighborhood of Hasaka.

Late Monday evening, Mohammed Al-Salibi—a father of three daughters—died after being stabbed while attempting to mediate a dispute in the Khashman neighborhood of Hasaka. The conflict had erupted between a cousin of his (who works as a diesel vendor) and a local shop owner. Al-Salibi had recently returned to the city from Turkey.

According to reports, Al-Salibi went to his cousin's home to try to resolve the dispute, given their family ties. However, the situation escalated when a group of young men attacked the house while he was present; as he stepped out again to calm the parties involved, he was stabbed, ultimately succumbing to his injuries.

Following the incident, security forces arrived at the scene and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances and take the necessary measures.
