Young man from Amuda missing after traveling to Idlib

The young man, Nejervan Mustafa Ibrahim (22 years old), a resident of Amuda in the Jazira Canton, traveled to Sarmada in Idlib accompanied by two other individuals before all contact with them was suddenly lost.

Nejervan works at the "Rezan" car dealership in the village of Al-Jawhariya, west of Amuda. According to his family, he had been temporarily residing in Hasakah at his wife’s father’s house and left early on Wednesday, November 5, at around 3:00 a.m. At 8:00 a.m. that same day, he sent a text message to his relatives informing them that unknown individuals had intercepted them on the road, robbing them of their belongings. Since that moment, all contact with him has been completely lost.

According to the family’s account, his last known location was in the Al-Sukhna area of Homs city, after which all traces of him disappeared, and no confirmed information about his fate has surfaced so far.

The family continues their intensive efforts to learn about Nejervan’s whereabouts and fate and has reported the incident to the security authorities in the region of North and East Syria, hoping to obtain any information that could help uncover the circumstances of his disappearance.
