Womens slam torture regime against leader Ocalan, call for wider resistance

The Turkish state’s continued imposition of severe isolation, torture, and psychological extermination on Leader Abdullah Ocalan—while barring his family and lawyers from visiting him—has ignited widespread public outrage across North and East Syria, particularly among women.

 In this context, Sara Ahmed, a resident of Çil Agha in Jazira Canton, vehemently condemned Turkey’s inhumane treatment of Leader Ocalan, calling it "immoral and utterly inhumane." She exposed Turkey’s hypocrisy, noting that while Ankara claims to seek peace, it simultaneously intensifies its brutal oppression against the leader. This contradiction, she stated, proves Turkey’s insincerity in its so-called peace efforts.

 Sara further declared that all components of North and East Syria—young and old, women and men—are fully committed to the struggle until the system of torture imposed on the leader is dismantled and his physical freedom achieved.

 Similarly, Razia Ibrahim Al-Aqoub, categorically rejected and denounced the Turkish state’s policies in Imrali Prison, stating: "This injustice is entirely unacceptable and must be confronted." She emphasized that lasting peace in the Middle East is directly tied to the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, urging Turkey to recognize this undeniable truth. She added that the leader alone holds the key to guiding the region through this critical period and achieving stability.

 Atiya Haji also expressed her firm opposition to the torture and extermination regime imposed on the leader. She pointed to Turkey’s lack of sincerity in its talks with Ocalan, asserting that Ankara’s continued enforcement of isolation and psychological torment is clear evidence of its refusal to pursue a just and lasting peace. "As women of North and East Syria, we remain steadfast in our decision to continue our struggle until the leader attains his physical freedom. Until that day, we will remain on the frontlines, mobilizing, protesting, and demanding an end to his unjust isolation," Atiya declared.

 Likewise, Fatima Sabri condemned Turkey’s ongoing enforcement of isolation and torture against Leader Ocalan. She underscored the leader’s unwavering commitment to peace and democracy, as demonstrated in his previous dialogues with the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party delegation. Despite his genuine efforts, the Turkish regime continues to subject him to cruel and inhumane treatment—a practice that, she stressed, must be immediately halted.

 Finally, Sarya emphasized that the people of North and East Syria remain steadfast in following the ideology and philosophy of their leader. She declared: "Our stance is as clear as our leader’s. Our struggle will persist until we achieve his physical freedom.
