The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the killing of the woman in the "Al-Rayan Badr Hassan" camp in northern occupied Idlib, amidst ongoing chaos and lack of security.

According to the source, the woman died "after being struck on the head with a sharp object by her husband."

Rates of violence, crime, and killings of women are increasing in areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries, alongside human rights violations, torture, arrests, extrajudicial executions, and the seizure of locals' properties.

The same source documented 50 incidents of security breakdowns since the beginning of 2024 in areas controlled by "Hayat Tahrir al-Sham" in Idlib and its surrounding countryside. These incidents have resulted in the deaths of 41 people and injuries to 65 others.
