Two young men killed after kidnapping in Homs

The victims, Wissam Daher Al-Ali (23) and Mohammad Saleh Al-Ali (24) from the village of Abu Hakfa in eastern rural Homs. They worked in debris removal before meeting their tragic fate following their disappearance this morning.

According to the details, the two left the home of one of their sisters in the Al-Sabil neighborhood at around 7:30 a.m., heading to a location near the electrical transformer between Al-Katheeb Cemetery and Al-Zahraa Square, where they were supposed to meet the tractor driver they worked with. But what began as a routine day quickly turned into a tragedy.

The young men abducted suddenly, and their phones went offline. Two hours later, news of their abduction surfaced. Their bodies were later found at the Al-Waer neighborhood hospital, showing signs of a brutal killing by stoning.

These acts—described by some as a form of genocide—have become a nightmare for innocent residents in their towns and neighborhoods. As people continue struggling to earn a living and support their families, many find themselves vulnerable to relentless and unforgiving violence.
