Villages in the rural areas of Amadiya district in Southern Kurdistan were once again subjected to bombardment by the Turkish occupation army.

Kamiran Osman, the member of the organization (CPT), told Roj News Agency that the Turkish occupation bombed the village of Koharza in Amadiya district today, resulting in the burning of approximately 65 dunams of agricultural land and causing significant environmental and agricultural damage.

Osman expressed condemnation of the continued Turkish bombardment, pointing out the clear contradiction in the Turkish occupation state's rhetoric, stating: "While Turkey speaks of a 'democratic solution' to the Kurdish issue, it simultaneously continues to launch intense military attacks on Kurdish areas in the Kurdistan Region."

It is worth noting that border villages in Southern Kurdistan are constantly subjected to artillery and airstrikes by the Turkish occupation army, causing environmental destruction, displacement of residents, and severe losses to agricultural and natural resources in the region.
