On Thursday-Friday night, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries launched heavy weapon attacks, including mortars and artillery, on villages in Manbij Canton.

According to the Manbij Military Council, the shelling targeted the villages of Aousajli, Al-Yanli, Al-Sayyada, Al-Dandaniya, and Al-Jamousiya in northwest Manbij, in addition to the villages of Kur Huyuk and Qurt Wairan in the western countryside of Manbij. A total of 74 mortar and artillery shells were fired.

The villages targeted are populated with civilians.

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have intensified their shelling of Manbij Canton. On November 18, the village of Al-Farat in the western countryside of Manbij was shelled, causing damage to civilian property.

Additionally, on Thursday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) thwarted an infiltration attempt by Turkish-backed mercenaries into the village of Abdouki, west of the city of Girê Spî, NE Syria region.
