The Syrian Democratic Forces published a brief statement on its Telegram channel today, which said:

“The Ministry of Defense in the Turkish occupation state published false news about the martyrdom of 14 of our fighters yesterday in NE Syria. These allegations are false and none of our fighters were martyred yesterday, and these false Turkish news come to cover up the crime that claimed the lives of 12 civilians, most of them children, whose names have been documented during a Turkish air strike on a popular market in the city of Sarin, south of Kobani.

The number of civilian martyrs during the past 30 days as a result of Turkish artillery and air strikes on the areas of Zarghan, Ain Issa, Sarin, and the Tishreen Dam area rose to 40 civilians, and more than 270 others were injured.
