Residents of Tishreen Dam: Turkish attacks will not stop our protest

The components of the Euphrates Canton, at the Tishreen Dam, which is witnessing a popular protest organized by the people of NE Syria, made a statement to public opinion, during which they denounced the attacks and crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the region.

The statement was read by Sabri Nabo, a member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates Canton. The statement pointed out that the components of the Euphrates Canton continued to protest for 5 consecutive days, and today the people of Al-Jazira Canton who arrived at the Tishreen Dam yesterday in order to protect it will continue.

It pointed out that the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries will not intimidate them or deter them from continuing the protest, which continues on its 22nd consecutive day, at the Tishreen Dam.

The statement denounced the Turkish occupation's bombing of the city of Sarin yesterday, which led to the martyrdom of 12 citizens and the injury of 13 others, including children, according to what was reported by the Internal Security Forces. And called on international forces and human rights organizations to do their duty and stop the attacks against the people.
