Turkish occupation bombs Mediya areas more than 706 times with warplanes, artillery

The People's Defense Forces (HPG) Press Center issued a statement today regarding the Turkish occupation's attacks on the Mediya Defense Zones. The statement reads:

"The Turkish occupation's warplane attacks:

On April 3, 4, 5, and 6, Turkish warplanes bombed the squares of Diraş, Yıkmal, and Kon Hill in the Gari region 8 times, the resistance square in Snein in the Xakurk region once, and the resistance squares in Shilaze, Derkal, and Beşil in the Metina region 4 times. A total of 13 attacks.

The Turkish occupation's attacks with heavy weapons, artillery, and shells:

On April 4 and 5, the squares of Bri Zin, Shahid Şerif, Lolan, and Snein in the Xakurk region were attacked 44 times, and the squares of Meje, Karkaş, Diraş, and Hill Kon and Zenkal Hill in the Gari region 46 times, the resistance squares in Shilaze, Seri Metina, and Derkal in the Metina region 90 times, and the resistance squares on Amede Hill and Bahar Hill in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap 513 times, a total of 693 times, were bombed with heavy weapons, artillery, and shells.

Our forces' response to enemy attacks:

On April 4, our forces destroyed the surveillance camera system installed by the Turkish occupation army in the resistance square in Kani Qiriç in the Xakurk region for surveillance purposes.

On April 4, at 7:00 a.m., our forces intervened with semi-automatic weapons against the Turkish occupation army's movements, which attacked the war tunnels in the resistance square on Amedi Hill in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap.

On April 4, at 1:00 p.m., our forces intervened with semi-automatic weapons against the Turkish occupation army's movements, which attacked the war tunnels in the resistance square on Bahar Hill in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap.
