The People's Defense Forces said that Turkish state warplanes bombed the areas of Gari, Zap, Metina, Khakurk and Qandil, which belong to the legitimate defense areas, 64 times.

The People's Defense Forces Media Center (HPG) issued a statement regarding the Turkish occupation army's attacks on legitimate defense areas.

The statement stated:

“Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap;

On March 19, between 09:50 and 10:45, the occupation soldiers were effectively targeted with heavy weapons in the Resistance Square on Amadiyah Hill.

Khakurk region;

On March 19, at 17:20, occupation soldiers were targeted with heavy weapons on Martyr Kamoran Hill. This operation was carried out by our forces affiliated with the Free Women-Star Units.

Attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army with prohibited explosives;

On March 19, our combat trenches were bombed 4 times with banned explosives in the Resistance Square on Amadiyah Hill in the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap.

Turkish occupation army attacks;

In the period between March 16 and 23, the squares of Deraşa, Dashta Kavya, Zankel, Bireh, Kuzeh, Shih, and Jamrobocki in the Gari region were bombed 10 times by warplanes, while warplanes bombed the squares of Tallet Judi, Tallat FM, Tal Bahar, The Resistance Square on Amadiyah Hill in the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap, was bombed 20 times. The Resistance Square of Martyr Ibrahim in the Zap region was bombed 5 times, while the squares of Seri Metina, Shilaza, Bishili and Baza in the Zap region were bombed 15 times, and the Colette, Lulan, and Martyr Sharif squares were also bombed. The Khakork area was bombed 8 times, and the areas of Kurtk, Salih and Pipala in the Qandil area were bombed 6 times, and the total number of air strikes by warplanes reached 64 raids.

On March 14 and 17, the Jargal, Shilaza, and Yakmala squares in the Metina region and Loulan square in the Khakurk region were bombed by attack helicopters.”
