Turkish mercenaries abduct family in occupied Afrin

In a clear indication of the occupation's continued policies of restrictions on the indigenous population and displacing them from their lands with the aim of achieving demographic change in the region, the Turkish occupation mercenaries kidnapped the entire family of citizen Dalil Habash on the first day of the new year.

The sources were not able to know the reason for the kidnapping or the destination to which the family was taken, but they confirmed that the mercenaries kidnapped the family from their home located near the Newroz roundabout in the center of the city of Afrin, which the mercenaries changed its name to the Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi roundabout.

The citizen, Dalil Habash (32 years old), comes from the occupied Rajo while the wife, Farida Ibrahim (27 years old), comes from the border village of Maidan Akbs, which is also occupied by the Turkish occupation army.

Worth to note that the Turkish occupation changed on the ground and electronically the names of many Kurdish villages and public squares in Afrin canton, replacing them with Turkish and Ottoman names, since the occupation of the city in March 2018.
