Turkish base prevents resident of Al-Arisha village from renovating his home

A Turkish military base near Al-Arisha village in the Tal Tamr countryside prevented a local resident from renovating his home after sounding an alarm and warning him against approaching the area.

A Turkish military base stationed near Al-Arisha village in the Tal Tamr countryside prevented a homeowner from reaching his property to carry out renovation work, warning him to leave the area.

According to a local source who spoke to ANHA's agency, the homeowner arrived in the area to begin renovation work. However, the Turkish base sounded an alarm before addressing him through loudspeakers and ordering him to leave the area immediately.

The base announced over the loudspeakers: “This is a military area. Approaching is prohibited. You must leave, otherwise you will put yourselves at risk.”

The homeowner was forced to leave without being able to begin the renovation work, at a time when residents of several villages located near Turkish military bases and positions face restrictions on accessing their properties and homes.

These measures are raising concerns among residents about continued restrictions on their access to their lands and properties, particularly in areas near military sites.
