Tribal elders of Jazira canton : Abdullah Ocalan’s message is call for Syrian unity

In a step reflecting the commitment of the communities of northeastern Syria to unity and solidarity, a delegation from the “Notables’ Council” and the “Freedom for Leader Abdullah Ocalan” initiative visited several Arab tribal sheikhs and dignitaries in al-Jazira region to convey the leader’s message advocating love, peace, and fraternity.

Sheikh Fawaz Abd al-Hafiz al-Bazo, sheikh of the Bu Saleh clan from the Sharabiyeen tribe, addressed an emotional message through ANHA agency, saying:
“We have suffered enough pain, displacement, killing, and fanaticism. Syria is ‘me and you,’ not ‘me or you.’ Syria is the homeland for all its people; Kurds, Arabs, Assyrians, and all sects and religions. We must live as loving brothers and hope for a better future for Syria, where everyone defends one another.”

He praised Abdullah Ocalan’s message, stating:
“The leader’s message is a true call for love and peace. We must embed it in our society. It is a message that excludes no one and embraces all components of Syria. We hope for the imminent release of leader Abdullah Ocalan.”

Regarding attempts to sow discord, he said: “We reject any calls to divide our people. We hope that everyone, especially on social media, will refrain from hate speech and instead work to spread love and fraternity among Kurds, Arabs, and all Syrians.”

Standing with the Syrian Democratic Forces

Sheikh Fadil Ali al-Kamar, sheikh of the Bani Rabi’ah clan in Hasakah city, said: “We received leader Abdullah Ocalan’s message, which calls for love, harmony, and peace. We fully support this message and urge immediate action on it.”

He affirmed their support for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), saying:
“We stand alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces, which represent all components of northeastern Syria. They are the only force protecting our land and uniting our people from various sects and tribes.”
