Toll of attacks on Afrin and Shahba Canton during October

The attacks by the Turkish occupying army and its mercenaries on the Afrin and Shahba Canton during October resulted in the martyrdom of 5 individuals and injuries to 7 civilians and 2 members of the Damascus government forces.

The assaults by the Turkish state and its mercenaries on Afrin and Shahba Canton continue.

The security forces in Afrin and Shahba revealed the toll of the Turkish occupation's attacks during October.

The statement reported that the occupiers shelled the cities, towns, and villages of the Canton with 1,667 OBIUS shells, 714 mortar shells, 826 rocket rounds, and SPG rounds, as well as 3 missiles, 49 tank shells, 21 armed drones, and 25 suicide drones.

The areas targeted, according to the statement, included the villages of Sheikh Issa, Biluniya, Tal Jijan, Samouqa, Kherbeka, Madiouna, Dir Qad, Ain Daqna, Tal Madiq, Zaiwan, Tal Anab, Harbel, Meng, Kafr Naya, Mushayrfa, Sha'ala, Nerbeya, Radar, Tal Rifaat, Kherbet Sha'ala, Kafr Anton, Um al-Hosh in Shahba, and the villages of Mar'anaz, Trendah, Shwargha, Tat Marash, Tanb in the city of Shara, and the villages of Mayasa, Burj Qas, Klutiyah, Kundi Mazen, Uqaybah, Dir Jamil, Sawghanka, Binah, and Harash Sawghna in the Sherawa district.

The statement noted that drones targeted the villages of Mar'anaz, Shwargha, and Klutiyah on October 8, which resulted in the injury of two civilians and the destruction of a bulldozer.

It mentioned that most of the attacks caused material damage.

It was reported that the shelling on October 22 resulted in the injury of two members of the Damascus government forces, while the bombardment that targeted the city of Tal Rifaat led to the martyrdom of 5 civilians and injuries to 7 others.

The names of the martyrs are: Ibrahim Muhammad Kulin Sheikho (55 years old), Malak Shiar Hambashu (5 years old), Jamila Khalil Qas (32 years old), Muhammad Waqfi Muhammad (47 years old), and Muhammad Abdul Karim Seydo (43 years old).

The names of the injured are: Ahmad Shiar Hambashu (10 years old), Ali Shiar Hambashu (3 years old), Lava Ibrahim Sheikho (19 years old), Muhammad Biram (25 years old), Ahmad Rafai (15 years old), Sakina Muhammad Ismail (55 years old), and Ahmad Omar Ahmad (63 years old).
