SOHR: 287 people killed in October across Syria

A total of 287 people were killed during October in various regions of Syria, amid ongoing fighting and the absence of a comprehensive political solution to the crisis that has persisted for 13 years.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that 287 people were killed in October 2024, including military personnel, civilians, and mercenaries of the Turkish occupation.

Among the aforementioned casualties, there were 152 civilians, including 25 children, 21 women, and 106 men and youths.

The number of non-civilians was 135.

Fighting continues across all regions of Syria, with the ongoing Syrian crisis and the involvement of various parties in the future of the Syrian people, such as the Turkish occupation state, which continues to manipulate the fate of Syrians according to its agendas and continues its bombardment of areas in North and East Syria region, resulting in civilian deaths and injuries.
