Tishrin Dam resistance continues for 43rd day

The people of North and East Syria have been protesting at Tishrin Dam for 43 days in response to the attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries targeting the dam.

The protesters continue their resistance at Tishrin Dam to protect it from Turkish occupation attacks and its mercenaries for the 43rd consecutive day. They emphasize their commitment to resistance, regardless of the sacrifices, and their determination to end the Turkish occupation’s attacks on the NE Syria region.

Yesterday, Tuesday, a new convoy of protesters arrived at Tishrin Dam from various cities in the Jazera Canton, Qamishlo, Tirbespiye, Amuda, and Tal Hamis, to join the demonstration.

Tishrin Dam and the Qereqozaqê Bridge have been subjected to heavy attacks by the Turkish occupation since December 8, 2024, involving warplanes, drones, and heavy artillery. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) have been responding to these attacks.

Since January 8, residents of North and East Syria have been holding continuous protests at Tishrin Dam to protect it from Turkish occupation attacks and to denounce these aggressions.
