Tishrin Dam protest enters day 81

The demonstration against the Turkish occupation's attacks at Tishrin Dam has entered its 81st consecutive day.

Residents of the North and East Syria continue to participate in the protest, which has been ongoing since January 8, in an effort to confront Turkish occupation forces and their affiliated mercenaries while safeguarding the dam from potential collapse.

Yesterday, a new group of residents from the cities of Dêrik, Çil Axa, and Girkê Legê in Jazera Canton arrived at Tishrin Dam to join the ongoing resistance.

The protest has now entered its 81st day, with demonstrators reaffirming their determination to resist the occupation’s aggression and support the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ).
