Tirbespiye celebrates World Children’s Day with children of Afrin, Shahba

The City Council of Tirbespiye in the Jazira Canton organized a special celebration for the children of Afrin and Shahba on the occasion of World Children’s Day, during which a number of gifts were presented to the children in a festive atmosphere.

On the occasion of World Children’s Day, the City Council of Tirbespiye in the Jazira Canton today organized a special celebration for the children of Afrin and Shahba who were forced to leave their homes due to the ongoing situation in the occupied city of Afrin.

The celebration was held in the Kongra Star Park in the eastern part of the city, with the participation of dozens of children and their families. The children performed a number of folkloric and national songs, expressing their hope to return to their homes and live in safety and stability.

During the event, the City Council of Tirbespiye, in cooperation with the Health Body in the Jazira Canton, presented a number of gifts and sweets to the children, who marked the occasion with songs, dancing, and a joyful atmosphere.

It is worth noting that since 2018, the city of Afrin has witnessed major changes that led to the displacement of many of its residents, while families hope for a safe return that preserves their dignity and ensures a stable life for their children.
