Threatening graffiti by ISIS mercenaries on ancient Hama Citadel

Virtual social media users posted a photo said to be of a writing on the wall of the ancient Hama Citadel bearing threatening slogans by ISIS/Daesh mercenaries.

Today, activists circulated on virtual social media sites pictures showing threatening phrases written on the wall of the ancient Hama Citadel in the city of Hama, bearing the name of ISIS mercenaries.

The text of the writing read: "The Islamic State is coming to slaughter you coalition dogs," referring to a direct threat to Syrian citizens by cells believed to be affiliated with or loyal to ISIS mercenaries.

These writings caused concern among the residents, especially after such extremist threatening phrases were repeated on street walls and church walls, threatening to "kill and slaughter" under the pretext of "blasphemy and apostasy."

The areas controlled by the transitional government in Syria are experiencing a state of chaos and security chaos, in light of the inability of local authorities to put an end to the sporadic security incidents taking place.
