Thousands people: We are all SDF, Long live resistance of Tishreen Dam protesters

The squares and streets of the cities of Ain Issa and Kobani in the Euphrates Canton, as well as Derik, Çil Agha Girkê Legê Tirbespiyê, Tal Hamis and Amuda in the Jazira Canton, witnessed the exit of thousands of people from various components in marches, to protest against the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its targeting of protesters in the Tishreen Dam, in addition to declaring their full support for the resistance of Syrian Democratic Forces and Women's Protection Units.

Euphrates Canton

In the city of Ain Issa, hundreds of its people and the displaced people of the occupied city of Girê Spi/Tal Abyad gathered at the military police roundabout and went out in a march against the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries and its targeting of the people protesting at the Tishreen Dam.

During their march, the participants carried the flags of the Syrian Democratic Forces, chanting the slogans: “Long live the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces, long live the resistance to the Tishreen Dam, long live the resistance to the Martyrs’ Dam.”

Upon arriving at the Martyr Judy roundabout in the city center, the administrator of the Ain Issa Water Corporation, Sanaa Al-Ali, gave a speech in which she saluted the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the face of the Turkish war machine and its continuing attacks on the NE Syria.

It condemned the aggressive attacks on the Tishreen Dam and the civilian convoys supporting the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces, which are writing heroic epics against the attacks.

The march ended with chants such as (Long live SDF resistance - with our soul and our blood we will sacrifice for you, martyr).

In a related context, tens of thousands of people of the Euphrates Canton, students, and members of institutions and bodies of the Autonomous Administration went out in a massive march, during which they condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the Tishreen Dam.

The co-chair of the Martyrs’ Families Council in the Euphrates Canton, Sarah Khalil, gave a speech in which she condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation state, and said: “We salute the resistance of the Tishreen Dam in the face of the Turkish occupation attacks. We will stand by our fighters until the end, and the attacks will not be able to break our will. We will defeat the Turkish occupation and protect Tishreen Dam.

The march ended with the slogan "Resistance is life."

Cities of Al Jazira Canton

Likewise, hundreds of residents of Tal Hamis and neighboring villages, in addition to members of civil institutions, representatives of political parties and Arab tribal notables, went out in a march that started in front of the city council and reached the Silos Roundabout.

In the meantime, after standing for a minute of silence, the administrator of the Tal Hamis City Council, Balqis Al-Abdullah, spoke and referred to the field and political developments in the Syrian arena, and saw that the Turkish occupation attacks on the region of NE Syria come within the framework of Turkey’s attempt to prevent the Autonomous Administration from participating in building a new Syria. .

While a member of Kongra Star in Tal Hamis, Mawiya Al-Hadid, praised the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units, describing it as “historic,” and said: “We appreciate all the efforts of the forces on the battle fronts to thwart Türkiye’s plans in Syria, specifically in northern and eastern Syria.”

For his part, the spokesman for the Arab Tay tribe, Hayal Al-Khuwair, expressed the support of the tribe’s sheikhs and tribal elders for the Syrian Democratic Forces until the end, as well as support for the resistance of the people protesting in the Tishreen Dam. Al-Khuwair said: “We are with you heart and soul.”

The march ended with the participants affirming the unity of the Syrian people, with all their sects, components, and religions, within a new, pluralistic, decentralized Syria.

Girkê legê

Components of Girkê legê and Rimrlan also went to the squares of the city, to protest against the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its targeting of the people protesting in the Tishreen Dam, and to support the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units.

The protesters, who stopped in the middle of the central market, raised SDF flags and banners reading, “Long live the Rojava resistance,” “No to the Turkish occupation,” and “Long live the Syrian Democratic Forces.”

After the protesters stopped for a minute of silence, the administrator of the Martyrs’ Families Council, Hazin Abu Zeid, said: “We condemn the attacks of the Turkish occupation state against the people protesting in the Tishreen Dam.”

Hazin added: "All of us, together with the Syrian Democratic Forces, will protect our land from the Turkish occupation and preserve the gains achieved through the sacrifices of our righteous martyrs, especially the resistance of our civilian families in the Tishreen Dam."

At the march, student Arif Ahmed read a poem that addressed the sacrifices of the martyrs, and ended with chants of “Long live the Syrian Democratic Forces” and “Long live the resistance to the Tishreen Dam.”

Çil Agha

Meanwhile, a march was launched in the city of Çil Agha in front of the Dallah Women’s Roundabout, and traveled through the streets to turn into a mass gathering in Martyr Masum Square, where the participants stood for a minute of silence.

After that, Younis Haji, a member of the School Administration Committee in the city of Çil Agha, spoke and denounced the Turkish occupation’s attacks on the Tishreen Dam and on civilian convoys, stressing that Turkey’s attacks prove the extent of its inability to solve problems through peaceful means.

While member of the Martyrs' Families Council, Hossam Hussein, confirmed that their position is firm in supporting the Syrian Democratic Forces, expressing their rejection and strong denunciation of the Turkish occupation attacks on the region.

Derik

As for Derik, the march began in front of Freedom Square, with the participation of hundreds of residents, carrying pictures of the martyrs of the Tishreen Dam and flags of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The march traveled through the main streets of the city, and then the participants stopped in the middle of the central market, and after a minute of silence, the administrator at the Educational Complex in Derik, Galshat Murad, delivered a speech in which she denounced the Turkish occupation’s attacks on NE Syria and its targeting of protesters in the Tishreen Dam.

Galshat said: "These attacks will not deter our administration. We will escalate our struggle and stand by our SDF forces until victory is achieved."

In turn, the co-chair of the People's Municipality in Derik, Jiwan Hassan, delivered a speech in which he referred to the resistance of the protesters at the Tishreen Dam, who are raising the sign of victory in the face of the Turkish occupation and its attacks, refusing to submit and surrender.

He continued his speech by saying: "We will be a strong bulwark and stand in the face of all attacks that target the will of our people and protect the soil of our homeland from occupation."

Amuda

Meanwhile, the march began in Amuda in front of Free Women’s Square, heading towards Martyr Jihad Square in the city center, with the participation of hundreds of families, teachers, and students, chanting the slogan, “We are all SDF, long live the October resistance.”

The march turned into a mass gathering, where the administrator of the school administration in the city of Amuda, Hana Khaled, made a statement.

The statement stressed that the Turkish attacks aim to destabilize components in the region, denouncing the international silence regarding the crimes committed by Turkey against the people of the region.

The march ended with a chant of, “We are all SDF.”

Tirbespiyê

For their part, the people of the city of Tirbespiyê went out in a march that started in front of the educational complex, heading towards the central market, with male and female participants raising pictures of the martyrs of the Tishreen Dam, and the flags of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units.

As soon as the march reached the center of the market, it turned into a mass gathering, in which the administrator of Kongra Star in the city, Muntaha Mahmoud, delivered a speech in which she affirmed that they denounced the Turkish war crimes on Syrian lands, and announced that the peoples of NE Syria will continue to support their fighting sons and daughters  fighters.

In turn, City Council member Nour El-Din Shaker spoke about the resistance taking place at Tishreen Dam, and said: “Today is a day of unity and solidarity to protect our existence and confront the occupiers.”

Pointing out that Turkeys’ ambitions are expansionist and occupying, and require standing against it, thwarting it, and rallying around the Syrian Democratic Forces.
