There is no information about journalist Suleyman

The Kurdistan Democratic Party authorities continue to kidnap the journalist and editor of Roj News Agency, Suleyman Muhammad Ahmed, for the sixth day in a row, amid the authorities’ continued secrecy on the matter.

For the sixth day in a row, no information was received about the journalist and member of Roj News Agency, Suleyman Muhammad Ahmed, who was kidnapped by the Kurdistan Democratic Party authorities while he was heading to the city of Sulaymaniyah at the Fish Khabour crossing to return to his work after visiting his family in the city of Aleppo.

The agency denounced the arrest of one of its members, demanding that the KDP reveal his fate and release him immediately.

Through ANHA agency, Suleyman’s mother called on the relevant authorities in southern Kurdistan to reveal her son’s fate as soon as possible.

After the news of the kidnapping was confirmed, many media organizations, unions, and politicians from Iraq and southern Kurdistan denounced the incident and asked the Kurdistan Democratic Party to immediately reveal his fate.
