"The forces of Manbij Military Council, with help of residents, show heroic resistance"

Today, the Media Center of the Manbij Military Council Forces issued a statement to the public, highlighting the attacks in the south and west of Manbij, and the statement stated:

"The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries escalated their attacks in the vicinity of Manbij and its villages for the second day in a row, as drones belonging to the Turkish occupation army bombed the area dozens of times, and its mercenaries bombarded the area with hundreds of artillery shells and rockets, to cover joint ground attacks carried out by Turkish mercenaries and members of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham on villages south and west of Manbij.

Among them, mercenaries launched an attack on the village of "Andbat" near the Sajor crossing, and clashes broke out between the forces of the Manbij Military Council and the mercenaries, which eventually forced the mercenaries to flee under the blows of our forces.

On the Deir Hafer axis and the Tabqa-Aleppo road, and on the Manbij fronts, the Turkish occupation army itself leads the attack. At least 20 times these 2 fronts were targeted by drones. The Turkish occupation state also monitors the fronts of the Manbij Military Council forces, provides its mercenaries with such information, directs them, and moves them on the ground. Last night and until this morning, clashes were fierce and all were thwarted.

In the face of these attacks, the forces of the Manbij Military Council, with the help of the residents, are showing heroic resistance, as the attacks were repelled in light of the continued violent clashes on more than one axis in the vicinity of Al-Arima area and south of Manbij.

Our forces affirm their right to legitimately defend the Manbij area and its people, and we call on our people to act according to the new circumstances and protect and stabilize their area side by side with our forces."
