The young woman Nalin Saydo from Tal Tamr city condemned these massacres, saying: "What is happening on the Syrian coast in terms of targeting the Alawite sect is unacceptable from a human and moral standpoint. We call on the European countries and the international community to take immediate action to stop these massacres committed against defenseless civilians."

She added: "We in North and East Syria, with all our components, Arabs, Kurds, Syriacs and Assyrians, must be more united than ever, and rally around the Syrian Democratic Forces that represent the people of the region and protect it from any threat."

Rejecting sectarian war and emphasizing unity

For his part, the young man Adel Obeid al-Ahmad stressed his rejection of the massacres committed against civilians, pointing to the necessity of building a new Syria based on unity and tolerance. He said: "We reject these crimes targeting our brothers from the Alawite sect on the Syrian coast, as the future Syria cannot be built on the basis of revenge and sectarian violence. We must all stand together and build a new homeland based on justice and equality, not on division and sectarianism."

He added: "We in North and East Syria live under one roof, protecting each other, and under the banner of the Syrian Democratic Forces that includes all components of the region, which was formed to defend its people in the face of any internal or external threat."

Warnings of worsening situation and calls to maintain stability

The young woman, Amina al-Ahmad, stressed the danger of the continuation of these massacres, warning of their repercussions on the future of Syria, saying: "The continuation of the massacres on the Syrian coast will only lead to the aggravation of the situation, and will drag the country towards a sectarian war that no one can stop."

She concluded her speech by saying: "We, the people of North and East Syria, with our various components and sects, stand together in the face of sectarianism and violence, and we have our military and security forces from the people of the region, ready to defend their people against any threat."

A clear message: No to violence, yes to unity

The people of Tal Tamr confirmed through their positions that the only way to achieve peace and stability in Syria is to end the cycle of violence and massacres, and work to unite the Syrian ranks away from any sectarian divisions, and that the components of North and East Syria are ready to defend themselves and preserve their cohesive social fabric.
