Tal Kocher citizens: We will not be affected by sedition campaigns 

The residents of Tal Kocher al- Jazira canton denounced the inciting media campaigns that attempt to use the tribes' name to make trouble and sow sedition in Syria. In this context, one of the Shammar tribe leaders, Nawaf Khad'an, said, "The tribes have always been a social reference for spreading peace and ending disputes, and they have nothing to do with those who speak in their name in hate speech and incitement."

He pointed out that those who attempt to stoke sectarian tensions do not represent anyone but the nation's enemies, and emphasized that the people of the region "will not be tempted into attempts to form sedition for destabilization."

He added, "The Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces have preserved the unity of the people and the territory since the revolution began, and have been a firm barrier against all attempts at division. We will keep supporting this inclusive democratic project."

For his part, citizen Saleh Mahmid said that the North and East Syria experience, since its inception, is based on fraternity among its components. He added, "We have embraced the democratic nation project since 2011, and we have been able to maintain our region through our unity. The recent media campaigns do not reflect the actual tribes, but aim to devastate what we have built."

Citizen Sami Suleiman said that what is occurring in the region today reminds us of the tragedies of the sectarian war in Iraq. He called for Syrians to cling to unity and renounce the rhetoric of division, stating, "Our bond as Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, and others in North and East Syria is solid, and it is stronger than all the external efforts to destabilize it."
