The Federal Council stressed that the appeal of leader Abdullah Ocalan is important for peace in Turkey, and said: "We gladly welcome the call made by Abdullah Ocalan on February 27, 2025, which offers prospects for ensuring peace."
"At the request of all parties, the Swiss government is ready to mediate and show its sincerity."
