Support for IDPs of Afrin-Shahba continues

To support and assist those forcibly displaced from Afrin and Shahba, and Aleppo by providing food, clothing, and household items, the communes in Jal Agha set up a tent in the city center at Martyr Masoum Square. Residents have been flocking to the tent for the third consecutive day to offer support and donations.

Additionally, the city's communes have taken the initiative to tour neighborhoods to collect aid. The donations are gathered in the public bakery building near the aid tent and then transported to temporary shelters for the displaced.

The communes in Jal Agha have also formed committees tasked with counting the number of vacant houses in the city and its surrounding villages. The committees aim to prepare and renovate homes in need of repair to accommodate displaced families.

Similarly, the city council in Tirbespî, located in Jazera Canton, set up a tent in front of the Kongra Star Center to provide support and aid.

From early morning, residents and the city council have been visiting shelters for the displaced, delivering assistance to them.

Aid collection efforts are also ongoing in the city of Qamishlo.
