Specific operations by HPG against Turkish occupation army in Zap, Khakurk and Metina

The HPG Media Center issued a statement to the public regarding the operations of the People Defense Forces, which stated:

“In the Metina area;

On January 4, at 15:30, Free Women’s Units fighters carried out a sniper operation against the Turkish occupation army in the Resistance Square in Serê Metina, resulting in the death of a Turkish soldier.

On January 5, at 12:30, our forces targeted enemy soldiers who were in the midst of movement in the Resistance Square in Serê Metina with heavy weapons, and their movements were stopped.

In the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap;

On January 4, at 15:50, our forces destroyed a heavy weapon “Dushka” of the Turkish occupation army in the resistance square in Amdadiya Hill using sniper tactics.

In the Khakurk;

On January 4, at 09:10, our forces targeted the occupation army in the Resistance Square in Martyr Hêmen Hill with heavy weapons.

Turkish occupation army attacks with prohibited weapons:

On January 3, the war tunnels in the Resistance Square in Shilaza in the Metina district were bombed 7 times with banned explosives.

On January 2, 3, and 4, the Turkish occupation army bombed the war tunnels in the Resistance Square on FM Hill in the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap, 6 times with prohibited explosives, and once with booby-trapped drones.

On January 3 and 4, the Turkish occupation army bombed the war tunnels in the Resistance Square on Amadiya Hill, in the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap, 4 times.

Turkish occupation army attacks:

Between January 2 and 6, Turkish warplanes bombed the resistance squares in Barbazin, Martyr Sharif Hill, Qala, and Loulan in the Khakurk region 8 times, 11 times. And the squares of Majah, Kani Sark, Zankel Hill, Zivak, Deirash, Kun Hill, Agid Hill, and Kafia Plain in the Gari region, and twice the resistance square on Amadiya Hill in the Martyr Dalil, west of Zap, and once the resistance square in Bishil in the Metina region..

On January 4, attack helicopters bombed the resistance square on Bahar Hill three times in the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap.
