Solidarity of N Kurdistan people with Rojava reflects strong ties between Kurds

In the context of strengthening the ties between the Kurdish people in the four parts of Kurdistan, and emphasizing the pivotal role of women in the struggle for freedom and dignity, Kurdish Kongra Star in Al-Jazira Canton organized an event in which it praised the support of the women of N Kurdistan for the revolution in NE Syria, in front of the Muhammad Sheikho Center in the city of Qamishlo. With the participation of dozens of Kongra Star members in the city.

During the event, a member of the Kongra Star, Shiraz Hamo, gave a speech in which she praised the support for the resistance of the women of N Kurdistan and their activities on the border, within the framework of strengthening the women’s revolution in NE Syria. She said: “Every square, street, and neighborhood has turned into a citadel of resistance, where historical epics are written in the hands of the sons and daughters of this people who believe in the idea of ​​human freedom and dignity.”

She added, "Our people in N Kurdistan have always stood by Rojava in its ordeals and difficult circumstances and this solidarity reflects the depth of ties between the Kurdish people in the 4 parts of Kurdistan.

She stressed that "these ties will not be affected by the borders, and that the will and unity of the Kurdish people will remain strong."

Shiraz pointed out that "today, the people of N Kurdistan are reformulating their honorable positions by declaring their unlimited support for the people of NE Syria, through a sit-in on the border."

She stated that "the gains that have been achieved in this region do not belong to its people only, but rather are Kurdish gains that benefit the Middle East and the entire world."
