The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed the increasing movements of ISIS mercenaries in the Syrian desert recently. It said that "the Syrian desert areas are witnessing intensive movements of ISIS elements between Jabal al-Amur and Jabal al-Bishri."

The Observatory confirmed that smooth movements of ISIS have been monitored amid weak security coverage in the region, noting that "ISIS recently completed intensive military training in special training centers located in the Syrian Hamad area and near the city of Sukhna."

The observatory noted that ISIS mercenaries intend to launch new and extensive military operations in the eastern countryside of Hama to control some strategic villages in the region, noting that they exploited the period of the fall of the former Syrian regime to seize large quantities of weapons and ammunition.

During the past period, many Arab and foreign countries warned of the growing power of ISIS in Syria, and its new threat to the region and the world as a whole.
