Security forces in Ain Issa discuss community issues

 The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria held a public meeting in the meeting hall of the Ain Issa city council in the Euphrates Canton to listen to the demands and complaints of residents.

 The meeting was attended by dozens of people from the city and its countryside. The meeting began with a minute of silence, followed by a speech from Duran al-Hashemi, the administrator in the relations office of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria.

 He praised the resistance of Ain Issa’s residents against attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, as well as their efforts in thwarting plans for displacement and further occupation of Syrian lands.

He explained that the Internal Security Forces hold such meetings to evaluate their work across all regions, listen to residents’ complaints, demands, and suggestions.

In his speech, al-Hashemi urged residents not to be swayed by sedition and the “special war” waged by what he described as weak-willed individuals and those beholden to foreign agendas aiming to destabilize the region’s security and stability, which was achieved through the sacrifices of martyrs.

He emphasized the role of tribal leaders, religious figures, intellectuals, and women—who raise future generations—in raising community awareness to counter these schemes.

The discussion centered on the need for legal experts in Internal Security Forces’ centers, confiscating unlicensed weapons, banning celebratory gunfire at weddings and events, and intensifying efforts to combat the drug problem and its traffickers.

 The residents’ complaints and suggestions were recorded for review by the relevant authorities within the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria.
