Yesterday, thousands of Kurds, Arabs and Syriacs from al-Jazira, Raqqa, Tabqa and Euphrates cantons headed towards Tishreen Dam, which is being attacked by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

The civilian convoy was bombed by the Turkish occupation, which resulted in the martyrdom of 3 civilians and the injury of 15 others. Despite this, the convoy continued its journey and the crowds spent last night at Tishreen Dam.

Today, the shift activity that the people started continues, as they spend their second night at the dam. ANHA's correspondent took pictures and video footage of the people taking turns at the dam.

Since December 8, 2024, Tishreen Dam and Qarquzak Bridge have been subjected to violent attacks by the Turkish occupation using warplanes, drones, artillery shelling, and a ground attack by its mercenaries. The Syrian Democratic Forces confirmed that Tishreen Dam is at risk of collapse as a result of the Turkish attacks, which could lead to a humanitarian disaster throughout the region.
