SDF's Abdi outlines key points of meeting with Barzani

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, has unveiled the key points discussed during a high-level meeting in Southern Kurdistan with the President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). Abdi emphasized the importance of Kurdish unity and peaceful dialogue with Damascus.

 In a post on his official social media account, Mazloum Abdi shared an overview of the discussions held yesterday in Hawler, Southern Kurdistan. The meeting brought together the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces, led by Abdi, with the President of the KDP, Masoud Barzani, and several senior party officials.

 The SDF delegation included Mazloum Abdi, Rohlat Afrin, the member of the General Command of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), and Luqman Khalil, the member of the SDF General Command Council. They were warmly received by Masoud Barzani and other senior leaders of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

 Speaking about the discussions, Abdi stated:"We were pleased to meet President Masoud Barzani. We deliberated on the ongoing developments in Syria and found common ground on the necessity of fostering Kurdish unity in Syria and maintaining peaceful dialogue with Damascus to secure the rights of the Kurdish people."

 He further added:"We reaffirmed the significance of Kurdish unity and regional stability. Achieving these goals is a shared responsibility, requiring collective efforts and mutual support to ensure their realization."
