SDF: SDC is real alternative to resolve Syrian crisis

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, confirmed that SDC project is the only way to end the political crisis, conflict and terrorism in Syria. He said: “From the beginning, we considered the establishment of SDF to be a historical necessity, governed by the circumstances of that stage. At that time, We were all witnesses to the failure of the Syrian regime, and we witnessed the failure of the opposition to find any solution to the Syrian crisis.

Abdi's assertions came during the fourth conference of SDC at the Happy Land Restaurant, in Raqqa, under the slogan "The unity of Syrians is the basis of the political solution and a guarantee for achieving a democratic, pluralistic, decentralized Syria."

Abdi noted that, due to the failure of policies in Syria, the Syrian arena was left to “terrorist and radical factions,” so ISIS controlled half of Syria’s geography, and other extremist groups took control of the Syrian scene, which created a state of frustration among all Syrians, so it was necessary to establish opposition represented by SDF."

  “We have achieved historical achievements in the past years, and that was establishing the Autonomous Administration, building its institutions, managing dialogue with the opposition national Syrian forces and figures and some other political files, and paying attention to the affairs of citizens and tribes in the region, in addition to other work that I am proud that we accomplished together” Abdi added.

Abdi pointed out: “ At the moment of this conference. Turkey is continuing to occupy the Syrian territories, and wants to expand its occupation, this issue concerns all Syrians.”

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, confirmed that SDF will support all decisions of the SDC conference, and he called for intensifying the council’s efforts to organize the ranks of the national opposition throughout Syria.

The work of the fourth conference continues with speeches by the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and the Syrian Women’s Council. Congratulatory messages are scheduled to be read by SDC and then the conference’s work is closed to the media.
