SDF pledges to deal harsh blows of Turkish occupation

On Sunday, the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement to the media and public opinion, which stated:

In the context of the repeated lies that it spreads, the Ministry of Defense of the occupying state claimed the martyrdom of a number of our fighters during the ongoing Turkish aggression against our regions in North and East Syria. We confirm that these allegations are false and are constant tools of the occupation to camouflage its crimes in targeting infrastructure, service centers and gatherings population and sources of livelihood for the people in the region, as the photographic documents confirming the occurrence of these crimes are larger and clearer than all the repeated Turkish allegations, and they directly condemn the occupying state.

During the past two days, the Turkish occupation has targeted, with its warplanes and drones, energy and electricity institutions, as well as grain storage warehouses and firefighting crews, in addition to civilian homes, farms, sources of daily sustenance, main roads and the outskirts of cities, where the aggression caused widespread destruction and disrupted the delivery of services to hundreds of thousands of residents, including energy, electricity, water and other basic materials.

These direct targets and barbaric terrorist aggression clearly and frankly prove the hostility of the Turkish occupation state to all forms of life and its components in the region. They are clear and deliberate war crimes to cause the greatest harm to the lives of people, intimidate them, and cause suffering in their daily lives. They reveal the true face of the criminal ideology of the occupation.

In the face of the barbaric aggression of the Turkish occupation, we affirm our right to a legitimate response and to protect our people and our regions stronger than ever before. Our fighters, who have become more steadfast and defiant against the attacks of hostile forces, will not leave the aggression of the Turkish occupation without a painful response, and this is our renewed pledge to our proud and resistant people.”
