HPG unveils killing 66 Turkish occupation soldiers during Revolutionary Operation- Updated

On Sunday, HPG Media Center issued a written statement about the outcome of the martyr Helmet Draluk’s revolutionary operation against the Turkish occupation army in the Mediya defense areas, which stated:

“In the area of the martyr Dalil, west of Zap;

The Martyr Helmet Draluk operation was carried out on January 12, at 17:10, against the occupiers present in the resistance square on Amdiya Hill. First, our forces that participated in the professional military operation destroyed all the mines and explosives that the occupiers planted around them, as well as the military techniques and wires. The operation began. The revolution was completely carried out on the initiative of our forces, using the tactic of attack and infiltration. We targeted all the occupiers in the resistance square in Amdiya Hill. Our forces that participated in the revolutionary operation went towards the bodies of 20 occupiers, and clarified and documented their killing. Our forces also effectively directed heavy weapons, semi-automatics and individual weapons. The other occupiers, and our forces in the professional revolutionary operation seized 4 hand grenades, a grenade launcher and their bullets belonging to the occupiers and used them against them and dealt painful blows to the enemy with their weapons. It was revealed that the revolutionary operation resulted in the killing of 61 occupiers and the injury of 4 others, and the directing of strong painful blows to the occupiers who were in the tents. They were also killed, but their number was not known. During this revolutionary operation, our forces set fire to 6 residential areas belonging to the occupiers, 3 containers, 11 sites, 2 logistical sites, an ammunition site, a communications system, an electric generator, a radar system, a regular surveillance camera system, He arranged thermal surveillance cameras, two A4 weapons, 2 of which were grenade launchers, and 8 cell phones for the occupation and destroyed them completely. During the revolutionary operation, both of our comrades Sarkhbon and Razgar rose to the rank of the martyrdom after fighting in the spirit of the APO and with great courage, while no losses were inflicted among the ranks of our forces other than martyrdom. Both our comrades, and the following equipment of the occupiers were seized during this revolutionary operation; 7 MPT-55 individual weapons, 250 MPT-55 rounds, 4 drum grenade launchers, 1 grenade launcher, 2 BKC semi-automatic weapons, 200 BKC semi-automatic weapons rounds, 5 thermal sights, 7 night sights, Two laser weapons were also seized, as well as 5 weapon scopes, a weapon aiming device, 2 communication devices, a spare battery, 2 lighting devices, 2 knives, 3 smoke bombs, 5 thermal scope batteries, 3 offensive armored vests, 2 military vests, and 2 headphones.

On January 13, at 1:10 p.m., our forces launched painful strikes with individual and semi-automatic weapons on occupation army soldiers present in the resistance square in Amdiya Hill, resulting in the killing of an occupier and the destruction of an occupation site.

These operations were carried out by fighters from the Free Women's Units.

Zap region;

On January 13, at 12:00, Free Women’s Units fighters launched painful strikes on the Turkish occupation army in the Resistance Square in Martyr Ibrahim with heavy weapons, and targeted their position.

Attacks carried out by the occupying army;

On January 12 and 13, Turkish warplanes bombed Zankel and Shea Square in the Kari region 4 times, Sanin Square, Khanir Gur and Lulan River in the Khakurk region 5 times, the Resistance Square in Bahar Hill in the Martyr Dalil area west of Zap 7 times, and twice Beyşil and Sari Square. Metina in the Metina region, 5 times, Balyan Square and Popliska in the Qandil region, i.e. a total of 23 times, and our forces did not suffer any losses in these attacks.

The Turkish occupation army also bombed the areas of Zab, Martyr Dalil West Zap Metina and Khakurk with artillery.
