SDF announces thwarting 3 ground attacks in separate locations

Today, the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement to the public, in which it revealed that its forces thwarted 3 ground attacks by the Turkish occupation in different locations. The text of the statement read:

“Yesterday, following multiple Turkish occupation airstrikes near Tishreen Dam and under the cover of the Turkish occupation warplanes and UCAVs, the Turkish occupation mercenaries attempted an attack on one of our forces’ positions. However, our forces successfully repelled the attacks, leading to intense clashes that resulted in casualties among the mercenaries. The exact number of the eliminated and wounded mercenaries remains unknown.
On the Deir Hafer front, under the cover of Turkish occupation UCAVs, the mercenaries launched another attack on one of our positions, but our forces successfully thwarted the attack after fierce clashes with the mercenaries that resulted in the destruction of a military post the and a motorcycle belonging to the mercenaries.
Additionally, the Turkish occupation’s warplanes carried out multiple airstrikes on the villages of Al-Tina, Ghasq, and Melha, near the Qaraqozaq Bridge, causing significant material damage to civilian homes and property. The occupation and its mercenaries also indiscriminately shelled the villages of Al-Tina, Ja’dah, Bir Hisso, Ghasq, Dekan, Melha, and Al-Sana’a, as well as the Sayfi Hill and Qaraqozaq Hill. More than 80 shells were fired using heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launchers, and mortars, leading to extensive damage to civilian infrastructure. Under the cover of this intense air and artillery bombardment, the mercenaries attempted another attack on our forces’ positions. However, our fighters successfully thwarted the attack, leading to further clashes in which a number of mercenaries were eliminated and wounded, though their exact numbers remain unknown.
Throughout the day, Turkish warplanes and UCAVs continued to patrol the skies over Kobani, Ain Issa, and their surrounding areas.”
